National Land Commission (NLC) chairman Mr.Gershom Otachi and Ag. CEO Kabale Tache today attended the official launch of the Nairobi River Commission at Korogocho People’s Park.
The launch was presided over by His Excellency the President Hon. William Samoei Ruto.
President Ruto was categorical that the government will reclaim Nairobi’s reputation as Africa’s clean green city in the sun.
He also said Nairobi’s ancestral identity as the river of cool and fresh water must be salvaged.
Leaders present were Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua and his spouse Pastor Dorcas Gachagua, Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon. Musalia Mudavadi,Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Lands, Housing, Public Works and Urban Development Mr. Zachariah Njeru, Nairobi City Governor Sakaja Johnson, Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, several Permanent Secretaries and MPs.
