NLC JOINS SRC DURING THE LAUNCH OF FRAMEWORK FOR RECOGNISING PRODUCTIVITY

The National Land Commission Chairperson who doubles up as the Chair of the caucus of Constitutional Commission and Independent Office Holders Gershom Otachi alongside Acting Chief Executive Officer Kabale Tache on Friday joined Salaries and Remuneration Commission during the launch of Framework for recognising productivity and performance in the public service at the Kenya School of Government in Nairobi.
Speaking during the event Mr Otachi commended SRC for developing the tool that recognises productivity in public service.
He said that the framework if implemented by all state agencies will greatly improve the service delivery in public service.
The Chair promised for full implementation of the framework by the CCIOs.
“As CCIOs chair I promise our full support in implementation of this important tool,” Said Mr Otachi.
Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Mr. Felix Koskei was the Chief Guest in the event that was also attended by Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Labour and Social Protection Florence Bore Nairobi City Governor Johnson Sakaja and several Principal Secretaries.
Mr Koskei challenged public servants to offer quality services at their different areas of service delivery.
He noted that the tool will be a motivation to the public servants as it carries rewards in the form of promotions, bonus, recognition certificates among others.
Acting Human Resource Director Ben Bett also accompanied the Chair.
