Mid-level managers have been called to ensure that they deliver quality service to members of the public in their respective areas of jurisdiction within the commission.
Speaking on Thursday during a three-day workshop on Corporate Governance, Culture Change and Performance Management, Human Resource and Administration Director CHRP Ben Bett said that the mid-level managers are the backbone of any organization, acting as the link between top management and the lower cadre staff.
He challenged mid-level managers to provide leadership in their respective areas of jurisdiction and mentor and prepare junior officers as a way of planning succession for the organization.
The Director challenged the team to leverage on technology to improve service delivery and enhance effectiveness, further underscoring the importance of the working as a team for the overall achievement of the commission mandate.
“I challenge each of you to not only meet but exceed our current benchmarks for service delivery, our mission is to serve the public effectively” Bett stated.
Human Resource and Administration Deputy Director CHRP Guyo Sora who was coordinating the program was also in attendance.
