The CEO of the National Land Commission Kabale Tache Arero led commission staff in participating at the 28th Annual Human Resource Conference.
The conference is organised by the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), a statutory body which regulates and advances the Human Resource profession in Kenya.
NLC Director of Human Resource Management and Administration Ben Bett along with other NLC staff attended the conference that is taking place in Naivasha from October 29 to November 1, 2024.
This year’s theme, is HR Visionaries: Transforming Workplaces, Empowering Africa resonated with professionals committed to creating resilient, innovative, and inclusive workplaces across the continent.
The Chief Guest at the conference, Mr. Amos N. Gathecha, Principal Secretary of the State Department for Public Service. He emphasized the importance of visionary leadership for organizational growth.
Throughout the conference, attendees will delve into critical topics, including: Fostering collaboration through professional alliances, the role of HR in driving economic growth, and reimagining leadership to adapt to changing workforce demands. Discussions will also cover restorative justice for workplace trust-building, and the use of design thinking in learning and development to enhance employee growth. These sessions highlighted innovative strategies and visionary leadership as essential tools for transforming workplaces across Africa.
