Daniel Murithi Muriungi

Commissioner Muriungi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 15 years of experience in Land and Environmental Law, Corporate and Commercial law. He is a specialist in Property Development law, Housing Projects Finance Structuring and Aviation Law. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Nairobi, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and an MSc. in Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University. He is also a registered Patent Agent and a Certified Environmental Impact Assessment/Audit Expert.

Throughout his career, Comm. Muriungi has led complex high-value transactions across multiple sectors. In the aviation industry, he has successfully negotiated and closed financing and acquisition deals for both local and international operators. His expertise in real estate includes advising top-tier developers and pension funds on land acquisitions, joint ventures, and large-scale housing projects.

Comm. Muriungi also played a critical role in the establishment of Kenya’s first Sharia-compliant bank. He has cut a niche in drafting specialised financing and Security instruments for Islamic and Conventional banks, Saccos and Large Land companies.

Before founding Daniel & Kenneth Advocates LLP in 2021, he served as Managing Partner at Sheikh & Company Advocates and previously held a Head of Conveyancing and Property role at Ahmednasir, Abdikadir & Company Advocates. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and East Africa Law Society.

Daniel is a dedicated supporter of Arsenal Football Club and a passionate enthusiast of Motocross development in Kenya.
