The National Land Commission on Wednesday morning handed over a certificate of lease renewal to Rift Valley Sport Club at the Commission headquarters in Nairobi. Speaking during the handover, NLC Chairperson Gershom Otachi said that the commission was committed to discharging its mandate to all members of the public who reach out for services.
Mr. Otachi commended the Rift Valley Sports Club for following all the laid down procedures that guide lease renewal or extension. He challenged other organizations who have applied for renewal and extension to follow suit assuring them of a fair process.
On her part, Chief Executive Officer, Kabale Tache challenged the secretariat staff to follow the law while processing the request from members of the public.
Commissioners Prof. James Tuitoek, Hubbie Hussein, Hon. Tiyah Galgalo, Hon. Kazungu Kambi, Reginald Okumu, Directors Dr. Samuel Nthuni (Land Administration and Management) and CPA Bernard Cherutich (Finance and Corporate Planning) were also present during the event.
